Intelligent Automation Solutions In The Spotlight At KNAPP’s Newly Inaugurated Plant - VIDEO REPORT

KNAPP Hungary Kft., a company manufacturing equipment for warehouse automation, has established a production plant with a EUR 16.7 million investment in Nemesvámos. The inauguration ceremony took place at the site where 250 new jobs will be created by the end of 2022.
Having a tradition of seventy years, Austrian KNAPP offers its clientele intelligent automated solutions globally at 53 locations, including China, the Middle-East, South Africa, Australia, America and Europe.
Its products are sold in healthcare, fashion, commerce, e-commerce and omnichannel retail as well as food retail.
The project in Nemesvámos was announced in July 2021. The assembly of roller conveyors with automated logistics systems integration capability was successfully launched in early 2022 at the new site as part of the brownfield investment of the Group.

After ramping up production thru 2027, the full range of conveyor systems offered by KNAPP Group will be produced in the Nemesvámos plant. The products will be sold exclusively on export markets, mainly in the U.S. and Europe.
