Hungarian-owned Révész Trans Kft. has expanded its warehouse capacities in North-East Hungary.

Supported by the HIPA Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency, the logistics provider has constructed a 5,000 sqm warehouse in Tiszaújváros and a 2,500 sqm facility in Kazincbarcika. The EUR 9 million investment provides new logistics infrastructure to serve industrial companies operating in the region, near  their production sites. The project is set to create 100 new jobs.

Révész Trans Kft. is part of the Révész Group, which offers comprehensive logistics services ranging from transportation and warehousing to customs administration. The company operates a significant fleet and is among the largest players in Eastern Central Europe in the transportation of materials requiring special handling, such as liquefied gas.

The investment in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County is also closely linked to this segment, primarily supporting clients in the chemical industry.

HIPA was established in 2014 as a national investment promotion organisation, governed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The agency’s most important task is to provide professional assistance to foreign and Hungarian companies wishing to invest in Hungary. Between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2025, HIPA guided 2,305 projects with a value of more than 66 billion euros to create close to 187,000 new jobs.
