The German-owned electronics company’s investments significantly contribute to the development of the domestic industry.
The German Rosenberger, a global manufacturer of electronic components, is known for its uncompromisingly high-quality products. Its product range includes connectors, components, accessories, and cables, primarily used by leading high-tech companies in the mobile and telecommunications industry, the automotive industry, medical electronics, and the aerospace sector.
Rosenberger, renowned for its engineering excellence, operates in Hungary at four locations – Jászárokszállás, Jászberény, Nyírbátor, and Taksony – employing over 5,000 people.
The company is undertaking a significant technological and capacity-expansion investment at its Jászárokszállás, Jászberény, and Nyírbátor sites. As part of a €122.3 million development, a 25,000 m² greenfield hall is being constructed, and the manufacturing capacity is being expanded with state-of-the-art production equipment.
The expansion aims to meet the rapidly growing demands of companies specializing in AI chip testing, with particular focus on the production of high-frequency data transmission cables. Rosenberger will create 200 new high-value-added jobs, thereby stimulating employment in the region.
As part of the project, a €420,000 energy development will also be implemented, enabling the production and storage of renewable energy.
The company is committed to supporting knowledge sharing and scientific research and is collaborating with Eszterházy Károly Catholic University and Óbuda University to train AI automation engineers and robotics programmers.
